Work Environment\n

This position is structured for remote work, providing flexibility in your working hours while maintaining a collaborative and supportive virtual environment. While the bulk of your sessions will be conducted online, you will also have the opportunity to engage with your colleagues from our outpatient facility. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments that allow for understanding the patient’s history and current psychosocial functioning, enabling the formulation of targeted treatment plans.

• Design and deliver individualized therapy strategies focusing on trauma recovery and resilience, using modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process trauma and develop essential coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, to integrate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for your clients.

• Provide urgent support through crisis intervention techniques when patients face trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they receive immediate and appropriate care.

• Offer educational resources to patients and their families about trauma responses and available support systems to foster understanding and recovery.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base primarily consists of individuals dealing with the ramifications of trauma, including but not limited to those affected by PTSD, anxiety disorders, and complex dissociative disorders. As a therapist, your role will be crucial in guiding clients along their recovery journey and supporting them as they work towards establishing healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Texas.
\n
• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities, combined with the skills needed to help patients build resilience.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with clients in a compassionate and supportive manner.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable utilizing technology for virtual therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting relating to trauma recovery.

• Demonstrable experience in employing trauma-focused therapies and delivering effective interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide:
