Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's history, symptoms, and treatment needs.

• Formulate and execute individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience building.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and engage in meaningful recovery work.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to provide integrated, coordinated care for each patient.

• Respond to crises with immediate intervention strategies, offering support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available mental health resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment strategies, and progress, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in continuous learning through case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research developments and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with trauma survivors, including individuals experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your sensitivity to their unique situations is essential in creating a safe space for their healing journey. Each interaction aims to empower clients, fostering resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations, providing unwavering support to clients in crisis.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and competent in using technology for therapy delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with trauma-impacted populations.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
