Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ histories and determine suitable therapeutic modalities.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, incorporating client strengths and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with the necessary coping strategies to manage their symptoms effectively.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to ensure an integrated approach to clients’ care.

• Provide crisis intervention support when necessary, offering immediate assistance during trauma-related emergencies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapy preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
