Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial comprehensive psychosocial assessments for clients, which encompasses understanding their mental health history, current challenges, and family dynamics.

• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices.

• Providing ongoing therapeutic interventions, contingent upon client needs, in a supportive and compassionate manner.

• Interacting closely with interdisciplinary teams through meetings and documentation, ensuring that treatment plans are integrated and comprehensive.

• Managing case load effectively, including documentation and timely completion of patient records.
\n
• Implementing group therapy sessions and workshops when applicable, to foster community and peer support among clients.

• Engaging with hospital and community resources to facilitate wraparound services for clients requiring additional support.

Our mental health clinic caters to a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a counseling or therapeutic setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in mental health practices.

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with a focus on counseling, social work, psychology, or related fields.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in outpatient settings and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), will enhance your candidacy.
