Position Overview

Stone Crest Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation center located in Dulles, Virginia. Work Environment

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at our Dulles facility, you will work onsite in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center. This full-time position requires a 40-hour workweek, with variable weekends as needed. Our center is designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, enabling you to focus on providing exceptional patient care. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, sharing knowledge and techniques that optimize patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to determine needs and develop effective treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on documented results.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, goals, and expectations to foster understanding and cooperation.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and care coordinators to ensure a continuum of care.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and in accordance with state laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Engage in community outreach, quality improvement initiatives, and marketing strategies to promote the physical therapy services provided.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, providing guidance in patient management and departmental processes.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and maintain compliance with continuing education requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgery, injury, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. You will also work with patients across various age groups, emphasizing culturally competent care in a respectful and understanding manner. This role is pivotal in helping our patients regain mobility and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
• Possess a valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in documentation and patient charting.
• Demonstrate effective computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems and word processing.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical rehabilitation setting. Experience in managing varied patient cases and knowledge of contemporary treatment modalities will be beneficial for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
