Key Responsibilities

• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on comprehensive patient assessments.
• Conduct thorough physical examinations, identifying health concerns and creating detailed care plans.

• Facilitate patient referrals to specialists and other healthcare facilities as necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare colleagues to exchange critical patient information and coordinate care.
• Deliver effective patient education, explaining treatment options and health management strategies to enhance patient engagement.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and engage in other job-related duties as assigned to maintain operational efficiency.
• Utilize strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, ensuring comfort and trust throughout their care journey.
• Maintain patient records using electronic health records software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic conditions with a focus on preventative care and health promotion.

Qualifications

• A valid, unrestricted state Nurse Practitioner license is required.
