Work Environment\n

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, setting the stage for effective treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' specific needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, various treatment alternatives, and self-care strategies, promoting empowerment and proactive engagement in their healing process.

• Monitor and track client progress, making timely adjustments to treatment approaches as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated care, covering all aspects of a client’s mental health journey.

• Remain current on research and emerging best practices related to mood disorders and therapeutic strategies to enhance your effectiveness and the clinic's reputation.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Peachford, you will primarily work with clients experiencing relationship difficulties, including those facing divorce and other family transitions. You will also serve individuals dealing with mood disorders, providing therapeutic support that addresses their emotional challenges and promotes healthy coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is essential, providing the foundational knowledge necessary for effective practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
