Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth intake assessments through virtual consultations to understand each client's unique challenges and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions centered around various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics.

• Maintain clear and accurate client documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) systems to ensure seamless coordination of care.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver comprehensive support and coordinate treatment plans for clients.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Serenity of Hope, you will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals from various cultural backgrounds and age groups. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active therapist license/certification in California, such as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and foster a therapeutic alliance with clients.

• Proficiency in the use of teletherapy platforms and EMR systems is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of professional experience working directly with individuals experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
