Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments through telehealth platforms to understand clients' mental health backgrounds and needs, enabling you to devise tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing best practices to support clients in achieving their personal treatment goals.
• Document session notes and maintain accurate clinical records using our digital health record system, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers, to provide coordinated care and follow-up services to our detox clients.
• Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings to share insights and strategies, reinforcing our commitment to high-quality care.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, recovery processes, and coping strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Deep Root Counseling, you will primarily work with individuals undergoing detox treatment. This population often faces complex emotional, psychological, and social challenges as they navigate recovery. You will have the opportunity to provide support and guidance to a diverse array of clients, each with unique backgrounds and needs, helping them build resilience and strategies for sustained mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practice.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Oregon, allowing you to practice in accordance with state requirements.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in psychotherapy, with a demonstrated track record of empathetic customer care and effective treatment planning.
• Experience and proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions that address a variety of behavioral health issues.
