Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, social workers, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Participate in workshops and continuous education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and remain updated on current mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work with us will primarily focus on serving individuals and families who have limited access to mental health care, addressing a wide variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will empower clients to navigate their personal struggles and strive toward meaningful and lasting change in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting is mandatory.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with a diverse clientele.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software and other related technologies to facilitate client management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards within the counseling profession.

• The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, with final compensation depending on qualifications and experience.
