Work Environment

Our Centreville location operates in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center that emphasizes patient-centered care. As a member of our team, you will work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment, engaging in multidisciplinary discussions to optimize patient outcomes. Your work schedule will be structured Monday through Friday with a total of 40 hours per week, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Thoroughly evaluate patients referred by physicians and develop customized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques that promote recovery for patients suffering from a variety of conditions, including orthopedic, pediatric, and sports-related injuries.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service and contribute to a positive clinic atmosphere.
• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes and streamline recovery processes.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions directly in the clinic, utilizing treatment modalities consistent with the physician's plan of care.
• Consult with patients and their caregivers, ensuring that they are educated about their treatment and rehabilitation goals.
• Meet established utilization goals as well as other key performance indicators defined by the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population comprising individuals with orthopedic injuries, chronic pain conditions, and rehabilitation needs stemming from surgical interventions. Your expertise will contribute to their recovery by promoting physical function, mobility, and overall well-being. The ability to establish rapport with patients, understanding their unique circumstances, and motivating them through personalized care will be paramount to your success.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting providing physical therapy treatments.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on patient education.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records.
• A commitment to building long-term relationships with patients and their families to help them achieve their functional goals.
• An enthusiasm for community engagement and collaboration with local healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience
