Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of our dedicated support team. Despite the distance, you will collaborate closely with colleagues and engage interactively with clients and their families. Our work hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, ensuring a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a liaison between clients, their families, and external outpatient providers to ensure a cohesive approach to mental health care.

• Engage with insurance companies for duty-specific pre-certification processes and effective utilization management, ensuring clients receive the necessary support.
\n
• Participate actively in discharge planning and aftercare strategies, providing recommendations that cater to the ongoing support needs of each client.
\n
• Deliver therapeutic meal support, working to model healthy relationships with food while addressing the emotional and psychological aspects of eating.
\n
• Offer safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client's unique circumstances, with careful consideration of their intersecting identities and experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse population, focusing on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Our clients often exhibit complex emotional and behavioral issues that require tailored therapeutic interventions, compassion, and understanding. Your ability to connect with clients from varying backgrounds will be essential in fostering trust and promoting effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.
\n
• Experience working with older adults or specific experience with children and adolescents preferred.

• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to effectively tailor therapeutic approaches and interventions for clients.

• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to engage meaningfully with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in working independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a school setting is highly desirable, enabling you to understand the dynamics involved in educational environments.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth practices to document client progress effectively.

• Experience with crisis intervention and behavior management techniques, providing immediate support in challenging situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
