Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessments and clinical interviews.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client, incorporating their input and feedback throughout the process.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients navigate their emotional and relational challenges.

• Educate clients and families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices, encouraging active participation in their healing journey.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment, integrating new knowledge into practice to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines by maintaining accurate and confidential client records.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and seek opportunities for professional development.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work towards reducing stigma associated with mental illness within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your practice will primarily involve clients experiencing relationship issues, particularly those in the process of divorce, as well as families struggling with communication and emotional distress. You will work with a diverse client population, tailoring your approach to meet the unique circumstances of each individual and family unit.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• A strong ability to foster secure and trusting therapeutic relationships through exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.

• Exhibiting empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude is essential in providing a safe space for clients to express their experiences and struggles.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrable organizational and time management skills to effectively manage caseloads and administrative duties.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
