We serve a diverse patient demographic, primarily accepting individuals with private medical insurance, and placing a strong emphasis on evidence-based practices and holistic care.

Work Environment

This full-time position operates onsite at our outpatient office, where you will collaborate with a small, but specialized team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet supportive work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs, setting clear, achievable treatment goals.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, delivering personalized therapy sessions tailored to each patient's unique condition and goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing a variety of innovative therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Educate and empower patients on the benefits of non-surgical alternatives and lifestyle modifications to minimize reliance on medications.
• Administer progressive therapies that enhance clients' range of motion, mobility, and overall health outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to achieve the best results.
• Document all services provided meticulously, ensuring accurate records in compliance with best practices and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes, sharing insights and strategies that enhance treatment protocols.
• Inspire and motivate patients to remain engaged throughout their therapy journey, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment.
• Promote overall health by developing and recommending individualized fitness and wellness programs that address specific patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals undergoing rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, and post-surgical recovery. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by patients in these populations, enabling you to restore their functionality effectively and safely. Our team is dedicated to fostering long-term patient relationships and transforming their rehabilitation experience into a positive journey towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Clean record with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and modalities commonly used in outpatient settings.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a capacity for empathetic patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred, showcasing familiarity with sports injuries and rehabilitation protocols.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• A background in utilizing evidence-based practices and contributing to clinical decision-making processes.

Compensation and Benefits
