This position offers a remote work option, allowing flexibility in your schedule while maintaining a collaborative rapport with the clinical team. Even though this role is performed remotely, you will regularly engage in virtual team meetings to discuss progress and share insights on client care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess client needs, creating tailored therapy plans that address their specific issues.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, as well as therapy for couples and families, employing evidence-based clinical practices.

• Document session notes and client progress meticulously, ensuring that confidentiality is exceptionally upheld, in line with HIPAA regulations.

• Engage in team consultations and case reviews to enhance the quality of care provided to clients and share best practices.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and training to further refine your clinical skills.

• Build strong rapport with clients, fostering a therapeutic alliance based on trust and respect, which is essential for effective treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Freedom House Recovery Clinic, our client population includes individuals from diverse backgrounds, coping with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. As a therapist, you will play a key role in providing culturally competent care that takes into account the unique experiences and backgrounds of each client. You will have the opportunity to work closely with families and couples, helping them to navigate their dynamics and improve communication skills.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Maryland.

• Demonstrated experience (minimum of 2 years) in providing therapy using evidence-based practices and interventions.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships based on trust, empathy, and respect.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to shared goals for client success.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in outpatient settings, particularly with couples and families.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
