Work Environment\n

This role will primarily be performed in a remote setting, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. As an outpatient facility based in Chesapeake, Virginia, we provide services that are tailored to the needs of the community we serve. Our therapists are supported through collaboration, with regular team meetings and training opportunities to enhance professional development and treatment effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to diagnose clients accurately and create individualized treatment plans that align with client needs.

• Maintain a minimum caseload of 27 client visits per week for full-time therapists, ensuring timely and effective therapeutic interventions.

• Document all clinical activities, including assessments and ongoing progress notes, adhering strictly to company policies and compliance standards.

• Effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach towards mental health service delivery.
\n
• Utilize creative therapeutic interventions that empower clients to set and reach their personal goals.
\n
• Coordinate care with case managers, medical professionals, families, and educators, ensuring a comprehensive support system for clients.
\n
• Engage actively in clinical staff meetings and training workshops to promote continuous learning and team cohesion.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, primarily focusing on children, adolescents, and families seeking effective therapeutic interventions. We encourage bridging traditional therapeutic methods with creativity to ensure our clients receive the most customized care possible. We actively seek therapists who are not only good at what they do but who will engage with our community's rich diversity, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Candidates must hold a valid LMFT license in Virginia.

• Demonstrated experience in completing clinical documentation, including assessment reports, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective client and team interactions.

• Proficiency in Office 365 and familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems, with experience in Valant considered a plus.

• Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and show a strong commitment to ethical practice with clients.

• Willingness to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Riverbend Psychotherapy Services offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Our compensation package includes:
