Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapeutic sessions either in the home of the client or remotely, ensuring comfortable and effective treatment.

• Deliver targeted interventions focusing on anger management, coping strategies, and social skills training to help clients effectively manage high-risk behaviors, such as self-injury and aggression.

• Collaborate with caregivers to enhance their decision-making and support strategies in managing behavioral challenges within the home environment.
\n
• Engage in consistent communication and collaboration with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals dedicated to improving client outcomes.
\n
• Maintain meticulous records, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring timely submission that adheres to organization standards.

• Participate in monthly staff meetings to discuss case management, share insights, and recommend best practices for treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily revolves around working with children and adolescents between the ages of 3 and 20, as well as their families. By addressing a diverse range of challenges—from developmental disabilities to behavioral issues—our therapists become crucial advocates for both clients and their support systems. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is a requisite for this position.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.

• Availability to commit to a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (specifically from 4-7 PM), with flexibility to work on weekends as needed.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in providing positive behavior support, particularly in community or clinical settings.

• Previous work experience with children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) highly preferred.

• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle required for potential travel to client locations.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, to ensure the safety and integrity of service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
