This position is predominantly remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own space or in the homes of clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients either in their homes or via teletherapy, adapting to their needs and preferences.

• Provide therapeutic interventions focusing on emotional regulation, coping strategies, and the development of social skills.
\n
• Address high-risk behaviors, employing techniques to mitigate issues like self-injury or aggression.
\n
• Work closely with the Child Family Treatment Team, maintaining a collaborative approach with multidisciplinary professionals committed to enhancing family dynamics.
\n
• Document all clinical activities thoroughly, including treatment plans and progress notes, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
\n
• Participate in monthly treatment meetings to review cases and refine therapeutic methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with children aged 3-20 who are exhibiting developmental and intellectual disabilities. Your skills will help us support a diverse range of challenges these children face, such as behavioral issues and difficulties with social interaction. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory.

• Availability for at least 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4 PM - 7 PM). Weekend availability is viewed favorably.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents is highly desirable.

• Experience with positive behavior support techniques is preferred.
\n
• Experience in working with children and adolescents with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) would be an advantage.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are required to facilitate home visits.
\n
• Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
