Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families to address a variety of interpersonal and emotional challenges.

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and developing customized treatment plans aimed at promoting mental well-being.

• Facilitating both joint and individual therapy sessions with a focus on understanding and resolving conflicts related to family dynamics.

• Managing and addressing issues such as alcoholism, abuse, bereavement, sibling rivalry, and conflicts arising from workplace stress.

• Helping clients transition through significant life changes, including separation, divorce, and integration within blended families.
\n
• Utilizing telemedicine platforms as well as in-person services to provide flexible care options to clients.
\n
• Documenting progress notes and treatment updates in a timely manner, in accordance with organizational guidelines and confidentiality protocols.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care that considers both mental and physical health aspects.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families. You will engage with clients facing an array of challenges, from those recovering from past trauma to families navigating complex relational issues. Your work will be pivotal in helping clients develop healthier communication skills and coping strategies, fostering resilience and overall emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A valid LMFT license in the state of California.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
