Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Embrace Shift Wellness, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and formulating treatment plans tailored to individual and family needs.
\n
• Providing both joint therapy sessions for couples and individual therapy sessions for family members.
\n
• Specializing in addressing various issues such as substance abuse, grief and loss, family conflict, and adjustment challenges related to divorce and separation.

• Employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate communication and conflict resolution among family members.
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center around a diverse population of clients, including adults, adolescents, and children seeking support for various mental health challenges. You will address a wide range of concerns such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues.
\n
• Experiences of physical and psychological abuse.
\n
• Grief and loss, facilitating coping and healing.
\n
• Family conflicts, including sibling disputes and cut-offs between family members.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
