This position is fully remote, offering flexibility to manage your schedule while also providing essential in-community therapeutic services. You will connect virtually with team members, while also engaging directly with families and clients in their homes or through our outpatient office. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized in-home therapy sessions or facilitate group therapy sessions in our outpatient center, focusing on the unique needs of each child.

• Implement therapeutic strategies to address anger management, coping mechanisms, and social skills development, while working to reduce high-risk behaviors.

• Equip youth and their caretakers with effective decision-making skills to manage behavioral challenges effectively within the home environment.
\n
• Work collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
\n
• Document all required materials, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, within established timelines.
\n
• Participate in monthly meetings to discuss client progress and submit recommendations for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on serving children and adolescents between the ages of 3-20 who experience developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. You will have the opportunity to provide essential therapeutic support to a diverse and vulnerable population, ensuring they receive tailored interventions that respect their unique circumstances and strengths.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field.
\n
• Possession of an active and unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours from 4-7 PM, with weekend flexibility preferred.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to client locations.
\n
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing positive behavior support and intervention strategies.
\n
• Prior work with children ages 3-20, specifically those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
\n
• Bilingual skills in Spanish or Portuguese are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
