This position primarily allows for remote work while requiring occasional in-person meetings at our outpatient office located in Spokane, Washington. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized treatment sessions either in clients' homes or at designated outpatient facilities, thereby personalizing the therapeutic experience for each family.

• Provide critical behavioral support, assisting children and adolescents with developing coping mechanisms, anger management strategies, and social skills, all while addressing high-risk behaviors like self-injury or aggression.

• Facilitate family sessions aimed at building better decision-making practices for both caregivers and children, helping families navigate and manage behavioral challenges effectively.

• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals, contributing insights and recommendations during monthly meetings to enhance service delivery.

• Ensure timely completion of accurate documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to organizational and regulatory compliance standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children aged 3 to 20 who experience a variety of challenges, including cognitive difficulties and developmental disabilities. The position aims to empower these children and their families, providing them with the necessary skills to thrive and find fulfillment in their day-to-day lives. Working with diverse populations will enhance your cultural competency, particularly when serving bilingual clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related mental health field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is essential for this role.

• Flexibility to work a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4 PM - 7 PM), with a willingness to accommodate weekend sessions as needed.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for home visits are necessary.

• All candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing positive behavior support and therapeutic interventions for children with intellectual/developmental disabilities is highly valued.

• Previous work with the adolescent population is a significant plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, our benefits package includes:
