Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing counselors to deliver services from the comfort of their own homes while adhering to traditional working hours, from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. As a part of our outpatient team, you will enjoy the independence of managing your caseload while still having the support of a collaborative work environment. Our team frequently engages in peer consultation and team meetings to enhance clinical practice and maintain the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive individual, group, and family therapy services, utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to diverse client needs.

• Conducting thorough intake assessments to determine client needs, developing customized treatment plans that adhere to legal and ethical standards.

• Regularly documenting clinical notes and monitoring treatment progress using our HIPAA-compliant electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will engage with a diverse population that may include children, adolescents, adults, and families. Clients at Kindred Connections Society come from various backgrounds and present with a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. Your ability to connect and tailor interventions to address the unique experiences of each client will be instrumental in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

• A current and valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in California. Please note that associate or pre-licensed clinicians will not be considered for this role.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related mental health discipline.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in providing therapeutic services, with a focus on a wide array of mental health issues.

• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and EHR systems; a willingness to learn new technologies is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
