Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand the unique backgrounds and experiences of patients, guiding the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the specific needs of individual patients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a variety of mental health concerns, fostering resilience and improved emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other social service professionals to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for all patients.

• Respond to crisis situations by providing immediate intervention and support, employing techniques such as de-escalation and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to keep health information organized and accessible.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings to collaboratively develop treatment strategies and share essential updates about patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will provide mental health services to a diverse clientele with unique challenges, including individuals representing various ethnicities, LGBTQ+ identities, and immigrant backgrounds. Your expertise will allow you to deliver therapy that respects and integrates cultural nuances and promotes inclusivity, ensuring that every patient feels understood and supported throughout their journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• A robust understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods, particularly those that emphasize cultural competence.

• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy using inclusive therapeutic practices.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
