Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, leveraging telehealth technology to reach patients across California. This innovative setting allows you to work with a diverse range of individuals while maintaining flexibility in your schedule. Although most engagements will occur virtually, we suggest candidates remain open to occasional in-person meetings for team collaboration and training, fostering a strong team dynamic and ensuring ongoing professional development. Regular business hours apply, although some evening availability may be necessary to accommodate patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate patients' mental health needs, allowing for the creation of personalized treatment plans.

• Deliver short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services through telehealth channels to assist patients struggling with diverse challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Lead virtual therapy groups and workshops aimed at enhancing patient well-being and addressing pertinent topics like coping strategies, stress management, and personal development.

• Collaborate remotely with other healthcare professionals, including medical teams and patient support services, to develop integrated approaches to care that meet all patient needs.

• Engage in outreach initiatives and preventive efforts, including virtual mental health awareness campaigns and wellness webinars, to educate the community on the importance of mental health.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records of patient interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards in telehealth practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele, which includes adults facing a range of mental health issues. Many of our patients experience unique challenges exacerbated by the current state of society, including stress related to COVID-19, social isolation, and adjustment difficulties. A keen understanding of the socio-cultural dynamics at play is essential for effectively engaging with and supporting these individuals.

Qualifications\n

• Active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or another applicable discipline is preferred.
