Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to establish individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and health goals.
• Utilize diverse therapy modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the use of equipment, to manage pain and improve mobility.
• Document all treatment sessions meticulously, tracking patient progress and adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Reassess patients regularly to redefine therapeutic goals and modify treatment strategies, crafting a plan that evolves with patient progress.
• Train patients, caregivers, and family members on the proper use of assistive devices and techniques that promote safe and effective rehabilitation.
• Maintain ongoing professional development by engaging in educational workshops, professional societies, and staying updated with current research in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children and adults recovering from various conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, orthopedic injuries, and neurological disorders. Your role will be pivotal in helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Possession of a current and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and the use of word processing software.
