Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at J & D Mood Balance Health Care Inc., your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual mental health counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring ethical and compassionate care.
• Implementing solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to meet individual client needs.
• Creating personalized treatment plans to address the unique challenges and goals of each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will primarily consist of stable, low-acuity adults seeking support for a variety of mental health issues. This includes individuals facing anxiety, depression, and life transition challenges. Your role is pivotal in guiding them to develop essential skills that enhance their quality of life, ensuring they receive the appropriate care and support to thrive emotionally.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A full, unrestricted license to practice independently, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No limited/provisional licenses or disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a sympathetic disposition, allowing for meaningful client engagement.
• Proficiency in technology and telehealth tools to conduct sessions seamlessly.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in teletherapy or those familiar with solution-focused therapy are preferred. Demonstrable success in managing client relationships and treatment outcomes will be highly regarded.
