Mid Market Account Executive

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) in our Manhattan office. This is a hybrid role. In this role, you will close sales and win new business within a defined territory. You’ll attend ADP’s award‑winning training program and work with both new and existing clients to sell human‑resources solutions, helping employees’ lives with high‑quality benefits across the hire‑to‑retire spectrum. You will cultivate relationships with Human Resources and executive decision‑makers, set appointments, gather leads from established partners, and assess buyer needs to present the best ADP solutions. You’ll manage multiple sales processes through various stages, document them, and guide new business through implementation until the solution is up and running. Responsibilities Grow Our Business While Growing Yours : Work within a defined, protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top‑down sales strategy. Turn Prospects into Loyal and Referring Clients : Close sales by recommending the right solutions to meet clients’ real business needs and earn referral business through networking. Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family : Cross‑sell cloud‑based HR solutions with other ADP associates to generate additional business within existing accounts. Collaborate Daily : Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards. Required Qualifications Positive Self‑Starter : An upbeat, persistent style, ability to cold‑call without fear of rejection, and strong time management, prioritization, and multi‑tasking skills. Strategic Closer : An established network and experience carrying a quota in outside B2B sales, with a proven track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing territory and relationships. Proven Winner : An ambitious spirit that thrives under pressure and motivates you to exceed sales quotas. A college degree is great but not required. Other acceptable experience includes: Three years of business‑to‑business sales experience (preferably field sales) within a results‑driven environment. Military experience, including teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust‑building, and a “never lose” mentality. Additional compensation may be in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
