Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake and psychosocial assessments to determine individual treatment needs and create customized care plans.

• Develop and present detailed treatment plans during team meetings with the Collaborative Community Drug Rehabilitation Program (CDRP) and treatment team for collaboration, recommendations, and ongoing support.
\n
• Participate actively in clinical case conferences, sharing insights and strategies to improve treatment outcomes.
\n
• Conduct educational sessions focused on chemical dependency, enhancing awareness and providing valuable resources to both students and families.
\n
• Offer individual and group chemical dependency counseling services, using evidence-based methodologies to empower clients in their recovery journeys.
\n
• Facilitate therapy sessions targeting adolescents, their significant others, families, and multi-family groups as required, focusing on relationship dynamics and communication strategies.
\n
• Provide case management services, coordinating resources and referrals to ensure clients have access to necessary support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adolescents and their families, particularly those grappling with issues related to mental health and chemical dependency. By fostering a supportive environment and building rapport, you will help clients navigate challenges effectively, develop coping skills, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required to possess the necessary theoretical underpinning for this role.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of relevant supervised experience in addiction medicine therapy within the last five years, providing you with a strong practical foundation to address client needs.
