Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments through virtual preliminary interviews, meticulously documenting client history and treatment progress.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health, utilizing both standardized tools and professional judgment.

• Develop personalized recovery plans, integrating evidence-based practices that cater to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for expression and personal growth.

• Monitor treatment plans and client progress, adjusting interventions as needed to align with therapeutic goals.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to design comprehensive care strategies.

• Ensure follow-up communications with hospital staff for clients requiring inpatient care, maintaining a cohesive treatment approach.

• Address and mitigate behaviors that hinder recovery, implementing proactive interventions and support for both clients and their families.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A successful passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven experience working as a mental health counselor, demonstrating a commitment to best practices in therapy.

• Strong proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as AVATAR.

• Familiarity with managing underlying physical and emotional health conditions, alongside addiction disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in providing therapy remotely and utilizing telehealth technologies.

• Background knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and knowledge in the field.
