Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate each patient’s needs, behavior, and goals through interviews and direct observation.

• Develop personalized treatment plans by integrating social, medical, and psychotherapeutic data to provide effective interventions, including therapy, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention.

• Set measurable short-term and long-term treatment objectives in collaboration with patients, ensuring they feel supported and empowered in their journey.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that encourage patients to explore their feelings and behaviors, fostering a safe and trusting environment.

• Implement and monitor treatment programs addressing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, addictions, and interpersonal concerns related to acute and chronic pain.

• Maintain complete and accurate clinical records including initial evaluations, progress notes, summary notes, discharge summaries, and all required documentation.

• Provide consultation to collaborative professionals to enhance comprehensive care integrating psychological perspectives.

• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and professional requirements, proactively staying updated on regulations and best practices.

Qualifications\n

• Current California License as a Marriage and Family Therapist is required.
