Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, with core hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekend coverage on a rotational basis. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, gathering detailed information on their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring they reflect individual goals, preferences, and treatment needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders and empower them with self-care strategies and coping mechanisms.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will focus on a diverse patient population experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and comfort in discussing medication management with clients.
