We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Parkview PT Clinic in beautiful Naples, Florida. Work Environment

Working onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in Naples, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to patient-centered care. This role requires a commitment of 40 hours a week, including potential variable weekends, aimed at meeting the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients suffering from functional limitations and orthopedic conditions.
• Engage in consultations with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless continuity of care for patients.
• Implement and monitor individualized treatment protocols, ensuring alignment with professional standards and regulations.
• Document all treatments accurately and maintain necessary communications with physicians regarding patient progress and discharge plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
• Participate in departmental functions including community outreach, cost containment strategies, and program development.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants (PTAs), aides, and students in accordance with state regulations.
• Continuously engage in self-development, participating in staff meetings and continuing education seminars to enhance clinical competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population with an emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation. Our patients range from athletes recovering from injuries to active adults and seniors coping with post-surgery rehabilitation. You will play a critical role in navigating these individuals through personalized treatment approaches, contributing to their timely recovery and return to daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A current and valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with proficiency in word processing and computer applications.

Preferred Experience

While new graduates are encouraged to apply, previous experience in orthopedic rehabilitation will be considered an asset. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and an understanding of current best practices in patient care will enhance applications.
