Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver tailored mindfulness-based interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients striving for stress relief and personal well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients’ stressors and therapeutic goals, adapting mindfulness practices to their unique situations.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breath control techniques, fostering their development of self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops that cover mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and strategies for resilience.

• Incorporate mindfulness effectively into individual therapy sessions to support clients addressing specific mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic treatment approach that integrates mindfulness throughout our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client population, including adults facing anxiety, depression, stress-related challenges, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is required.
