Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate students, taking into account their individual histories, presenting issues, and risk factors.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans in conjunction with students, focusing on enhancing mental health, emotional stability, and successful adaptation within the school community.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused interventions, to address a range of psychological disorders.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at emotional growth, self-regulation, and development of coping strategies for students.

• Work collaboratively with a team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and nurse practitioners, to coordinate a comprehensive support system for students.

• Respond to mental health crises by providing immediate interventions, employing de-escalation techniques, and determining the need for further care when necessary.

• Provide psychoeducation to students and families, equipping them with knowledge about mental health issues, treatment pathways, and community resources.

• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress to align with ethical standards and state regulations.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
