Work Environment\n

This position will operate entirely in a remote setting, allowing flexibility while still engaging closely with the school community. You will collaborate remotely with educators, parents, and external mental health professionals, all while maintaining a strong connection to the school's objectives. Your work will be conducted primarily between the hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts or rotating weekends to ensure robust coverage during peak times of student need. You may also be involved in on-call rotations to provide timely support during mental health emergencies.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that analyze each student's personal history and specific concerns, ensuring all risk factors are adequately addressed.

• Collaborate closely with students to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize their mental health needs, promote resilience, and aid their integration into the school community.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care approaches to effectively treat a variety of mental health conditions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on personal growth, emotional regulation, and the development of effective coping strategies.

• Coordinate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a holistic treatment approach for each student.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and making appropriate referrals when necessary.

• Delivers psychoeducation to students and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions, treatment resources, and available community support.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to promote knowledge-sharing and enhance collaborative care strategies.

• Stay updated with current laws and ethical guidelines that govern mental health practice within the educational landscape.

The primary focus of your efforts will be on students of varying ages and backgrounds, each facing distinct mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and social issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.

• A current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Colorado.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in mental health or educational contexts.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and trauma-informed care principles.

• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and formulating evidence-based treatment plans.

• Experience in engaging in individual and group therapy utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to foster rapport with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
