Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group counseling using a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to clients' needs.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and crisis planning, to develop effective treatment plans.

• Manage a caseload of clients while ensuring adherence to individualized treatment goals, monitoring progress, and adjusting as necessary.

• Supervise and mentor junior therapists and interns, fostering their professional development and ensuring compliance with best practices.

• Engage in interdisciplinary meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies and coordinate services with external agencies and professionals.

• Assist clients in navigating community resources, linking them with appropriate services and advocates as necessary.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes within Electronic Health Records (EHR), ensuring compliance with state and federal confidentiality regulations.

Your work will encompass a varied clientele, including individuals experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, as well as those struggling with substance use disorders and intellectual disabilities. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a human services-related field is required, with a valid and active license in the District of Columbia (LPC, LICSW, or LMFT).

• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and the ability to learn new software efficiently.

• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage time effectively while meeting the demands of a full caseload.

• Clear history with no criminal background as mandated by D.C. and Federal regulations.
