Work Environment

This Nurse Practitioner role is primarily onsite within a home care setting, allowing you to engage directly with patients in their living environments. Your typical work schedule will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinics extending until 8:00 p.m. Some weekends may involve participation in community outreach events and health fairs. This is a dynamic role averaging approximately 40 hours per week, providing a balance between clinical responsibilities and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner at Eastside Internal Medicine LLC, you will be charged with a variety of important responsibilities designed to promote the health and well-being of our patients:

• Conducting thorough health assessments and screenings, gathering comprehensive medical histories, and performing physical examinations of individuals and families.
• Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic health conditions, implementing treatment plans that align with preventive care and health promotion strategies.
• Collaborating with community organizations to create and deliver effective health education programs that enhance healthcare awareness.
• Providing culturally sensitive care, and acting as a strong advocate for patients’ rights and accessibility to essential healthcare services.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this Nurse Practitioner position will possess the following qualifications:

Compensation and Benefits
