Work Environment

This role is located in Jacksonville, Florida, offering an onsite work setting primarily focused on concierge medicine and house calls. The intimate nature of our practice allows for meaningful, one-on-one engagement between practitioners and patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to accurately diagnose mental health disorders, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools and methodologies.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that cater to the specific needs of each patient, ensuring that practices are up-to-date with current research.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, regularly monitoring their effectiveness and making necessary adjustments to optimize patient care.
• Provide various psychotherapy services, employing therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care, fostering an integrated treatment approach that addresses the physical, emotional, and social aspects of patient health.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Document and monitor patient progress consistently, tracking responses to treatments, symptoms, and ongoing care plans.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to assess and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring the highest quality of care.
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences to share insights, discuss complex cases, and contribute to clinical supervision.
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards in practice, ensuring that patient confidentiality and rights are upheld at all times.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, with an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Florida.
• Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by a recognized accrediting body.
• Proven experience in psychiatric nursing, ideally in a clinical setting with direct patient interaction.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a passion for working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work flexibly, adapting approaches to meet the varied needs of patients in diverse settings.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in concierge or house call medicine are encouraged to apply, as are those familiar with managing electronic health records (EHR) systems. Familiarity with community resources available for mental health support is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
