Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced nursing care to patients, independently managing their ongoing health needs and collaborating with a diverse healthcare team.
• Oversee the management of chronic stable medical conditions, acute care, and complex medical protocols specific to Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Conduct non-invasive and invasive procedures, including but not limited to family planning, gynecological exams, and patient education on treatment options.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement patient care plans, initiating referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff and medical students, providing guidance on best practices and clinical protocols.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Document all patient interactions and care plans in the electronic health record system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or PhD in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Possession of valid RN and Nurse Practitioner licensure, free of restrictions.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR from AHA.
• DEA certification must be obtained within three months of hiring.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills demonstrating empathy and respect towards patients and colleagues.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills necessary for patient interaction and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, utilize sound judgment, and manage stress effectively in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of recent outpatient Nurse Practitioner experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, including triaging patients and engaging in clinical quality improvement initiatives.
• Proficient in performing specific procedures such as IUD insertions, colposcopies, and in-office biopsies.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems, particularly those relevant to women's health.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is between $120,000 and $220,000, commensurate with experience and expertise. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
