Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home in Simi Valley, California, or anywhere else with a reliable internet connection. The fully telehealth setting allows for greater work-life balance, enabling you to create and maintain your own schedule, typically Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm. With no on-call responsibilities, you have the opportunity to concentrate on your clients without the stress that often accompanies traditional therapy environments.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting virtual assessments and screenings that evaluate clients’ mental health history and current needs, helping tailor their treatment plans.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to promote healing and coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary treatment team to provide integrated care, ensuring clients receive holistic support.

• Providing education and guidance to clients’ families, encouraging their involvement in the recovery process as a vital component of treatment.

• Maintaining thorough and accurate records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adolescents and young adults who are facing various mental health challenges but are deemed stable and suitable for outpatient services. By understanding this client demographic, you will be able to build rapport quickly, implementing tailored strategies to address their unique needs and goals.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Hold active state licensure as either an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD.
\n
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills essential for effective therapy delivery.

• Exhibit a neat and professional appearance at all times during virtual sessions.
\n
• Possess advanced proficiency in using technological tools, including Google Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
