The position will be performed onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Facility in Newark, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess physical function and mobility of patients referred by physicians, documenting findings and creating individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic programs utilizing a variety of techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to specific patient needs.
• Engage with patients and their families to provide education on treatment procedures and self-care techniques that support therapeutic growth.
• Provide purposeful therapeutic care to patients in our facility, ensuring adherence to established care plans designed in collaboration with physicians.
• Consistently monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on patient feedback and observational data to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to share insights and enhance the overall effectiveness of treatment protocols.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to ethical guidelines, ensuring excellent customer service and patient satisfaction.
• Meet established performance metrics and contribute to clinic business objectives to foster a thriving practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Stryker, you will work with diverse patient demographics, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pediatric conditions, and sports-related injuries. Your role will involve customizing therapeutic interventions to align with the unique needs of each patient, promoting mobility, independence, and restoration of quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Graduate from an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, coupled with robust interpersonal capabilities.
• Proficient in utilizing technology, including electronic medical records systems and standard office software.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with specialized knowledge or certifications in areas like pediatrics, geriatrics, or sports medicine will be strongly considered. Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
