Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite in our outpatient office setting, providing hands-on care to a diverse patient population. The office operates Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, creating a structured yet engaging workspace that promotes teamwork, continuous learning, and patient interaction. Our clinic is designed with patient comfort and care in mind, featuring specialized therapy rooms and rehabilitation spaces that facilitate a comprehensive therapeutic experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to recognize and meet each patient's unique objectives and rehabilitation needs.
• Design individualized treatment plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based methodologies.
• Maintain optimal patient care by managing a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and effective therapy.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on pharmacological treatments.
• Foster patient motivation and adherence to treatment protocols through education and encouragement, facilitating their recovery process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, adapt treatment plans as needed, and meticulously document all services provided using EMR software such as WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be primarily focusing on orthopedic patients of all ages dealing with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. This includes post-surgical patients who require rehabilitation, athletes recovering from injuries, and individuals managing chronic pain. Your expertise will support patients' transitions from pain and injury to optimal functionality, promoting their active engagement in daily activities and recreation.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No disciplinary actions or board complaints on your professional license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing tailored exercise programs.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Experience with the facilitation of comprehensive rehabilitation programs that engage patients in active recovery.
• Familiarity with the integration of wellness programs that promote lifestyle changes.

Compensation and Benefits
