Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to design personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique recovery needs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of specialized equipment, to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Regularly monitor each patient's progress, documenting treatment efficacy and adjusting plans as needed to ensure optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on the techniques and exercises required for recovery, ensuring they are equipped to contribute to their recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, providing insights and updates to foster a streamlined approach to patient care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of industry advancements.
• Assist in recommending and fitting patients with necessary assistive devices, enabling them to achieve greater independence in daily activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Our therapists deliver personalized care tailored to each patient's needs, ensuring a compassionate approach for patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory prior to commencing work.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficient in computer systems and software related to clinical documentation and facility operations.
• A flexible and adaptive approach to patient care, demonstrating agility in changing environments and patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is requested, recent graduates are encouraged to apply as mentorship programs are available.
• Experience working in rehabilitation, particularly in outpatient or home care settings, is considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
