Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work setting, allowing you to conduct sessions via telehealth. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that emphasizes trauma-informed care and prioritizes professional development. The work schedule generally follows Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identify effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery and enhancement of resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a space for patients to process their experiences and develop coping mechanisms.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and holistic care.
\n
• Respond to emergencies by providing crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related situations.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional training focused on trauma-informed approaches.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practice standards in the field of trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals who have suffered from various forms of trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will engage with a diverse clientele, ensuring that care is culturally sensitive and tailored to unique personal histories. Your work will not only support individual healing journeys but also contribute to a greater understanding of trauma within our community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A keen understanding of trauma-related disorders and an aptitude for trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing empathy and respect.
\n
• The capacity to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools.
\n
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices. Experience with specific trauma-focused therapies can enhance your candidacy, as will a strong commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Compensation and Benefits\n
