Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cardiovascular assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic analysis to formulate accurate treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic heart conditions, overseeing treatment regimens that include medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists as needed.
• Perform cardiac testing such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and other relevant diagnostics, interpreting results and incorporating findings into patient management strategies.
• Develop and implement community outreach programs focused on heart health education, fostering partnerships with local organizations to promote awareness and prevention.
• Maintain meticulous medical records and adhere to all relevant regulatory standards, ensuring that documentation reflects best practices in cardiology care.
• Continuously stay updated on emerging trends in cardiology and adopt evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population primarily consists of individuals experiencing a range of cardiovascular issues, from high blood pressure and hyperlipidemia to heart failure and arrhythmias. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be expected to provide culturally sensitive care that respects the diverse backgrounds of our patients. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program, with specialization in Cardiovascular Nursing or related fields.
