The position is based onsite, primarily in our clients' homes across Miramar Beach and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations for pediatric patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer direct hands-on treatment therapies according to evidence-based practices, focusing on restoring function, improving mobility, and relieving pain.
• Provide family and caregiver training and counseling to support ongoing patient progress outside of therapy sessions, including home exercise programming and discharge planning.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring all information is communicated clearly with the healthcare team.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with office staff and other healthcare disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care and facilitate referrals to specialists as necessary.
• Consult regularly with referring physicians and other healthcare providers about patient progress and any adjustments needed in treatment approaches.
• Utilize trigger point therapy techniques and other specialized modalities tailored to the unique needs of pediatric patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents with diverse physical therapy needs. You will be tasked with not only restoring function and mobility but also fostering a nurturing environment where children can feel comfortable and engaged in their healing process. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Florida Physical Therapy License.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in acute care settings, preferably focusing on pediatrics.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and a thorough understanding of pediatric anatomy and physiology.
• Experience working with children and adapting therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs and abilities.
• Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and communication protocols, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home healthcare settings, particularly with pediatric patients.
• Participation in continuing education programs related to pediatric physical therapy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish trust and rapport with kids and their families.

Compensation and Benefits
