Key Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing individualized, recovery-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
• Performing ongoing assessments to determine and adjust treatment needs and strategies accordingly.
• Assisting clients in the creation and management of their individual service plans to achieve therapeutic goals.
• Working directly with clients to enhance their coping mechanisms, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills.
• Providing education on accessible community resources and advocating for clients to connect with these vital services.
• Facilitating skill-building activities that enhance clients’ daily living skills, leisure interests, and overall functionality.
• Monitoring client symptoms and progress to provide timely adjustments to treatment as necessary.
• Ensuring client confidentiality and ethical practice in all engagements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with adults facing a range of mental health challenges. Clients may encounter obstacles related to maintaining their independence due to various mental health conditions. The focus will be on empowering these individuals through support, skills training, and advocacy, ultimately helping them navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Valid state license to practice in California, specifically as one of the following: LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
• Proficient ability to practice without supervision and uphold ethical standards in clinical practice.
• No disciplinary actions on the current license.
• Strong interpersonal skills that reflect compassionate understanding and support.
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
• A reliable internet connection to facilitate seamless remote counseling.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing direct clinical services or therapy to a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated abilities in crisis intervention and behavior management strategies.
• Experience in executing successful client case management and paperwork-efficiency processes.
• Familiarity with community resources and services specific to mental health support.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer competitive benefits that include:
