Work Environment

As part of an outpatient office framework, you will engage with clients through virtual sessions, utilizing technology to enhance therapeutic delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health statuses and emotional well-being.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to the unique goals of each client.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Regularly monitor clients' progress, ensuring that treatment plans are adapted according to evolving client needs and outcomes.
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support to clients facing acute mental health issues.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to provide holistic care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including supervision, workshops, and training, to refine clinical skills and stay abreast of the latest mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Life Journey Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role is crucial in helping clients develop coping strategies, enhance their emotional resilience, and achieve their personal goals through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist is mandatory (can include LMFT, LPCC, LCSW).
• Proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic techniques to evaluate client needs effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and rapport with clients.
