Enlightened Pathways Mental Healthcare Pte. Ltd is actively seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our esteemed outpatient practice located in Sacramento, California. This remote position offers the opportunity to engage with a diverse clientele facing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Work Environment

This is a remote position, providing flexibility while ensuring that you work during regular business hours from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will deliver care from the comfort of your home or office, minimizing commute-related stress and allowing for a better work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and values.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective treatment.
• Provide detailed education and supportive resources to clients and their families concerning mood disorders and available treatment options.
• Monitor clients' therapeutic progress over time, adapting treatment strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to mental health care.
• Stay current with research and developments in the field to continually enhance therapeutic techniques.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards for client sessions, evaluations, and treatment plans.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to contribute to collective knowledge and improve clinical practices.
• Advocate for clients to foster a better understanding of mood disorders within the community and promote better mental health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with mood disorders, particularly those experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder. Many of our clients come from diverse backgrounds, including varying cultures, lifestyles, and socioeconomic conditions. The ability to connect with and relate to clients from different walks of life is essential in building effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.
• Familiarity with psychopharmacology and the capacity for effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical personnel.
• A proven history of achieving positive treatment outcomes for clients suffering from mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills to foster rapport and trust among clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings with clients experiencing a wide variety of mood disorders.
• Participation in ongoing training and professional development in emerging therapeutic modalities or mental health treatments.
• History of implementing effective group therapy sessions in addition to individual therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $80,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience.
